Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplacable spark. In the hopeless swamps of the not quite, the not yet, and the not at all, do not let the hero in your soul perish and leave only frustration for the life you deserved, but never have been able to reach. The world you desire can be won, it exists, it is real, it is possible, it is yours.

The festive season.

Festival Fashion.
So many rules... but so many ways to end up looking like a stereotype if u follow every one.

1)Must wear sunglasses, make up will melt and run.
2)Shorts are ideal, more convenient for sitting under trees in the shade.
Flats are ESSENTIAL but... sandals may incur sore bleeding toes, ballet flats can easily slip off and can just look boring, and converse's or flat boots may make you too hot.
3)One piece body suits or swimmers are entirely impractical! Its not like a port-a-loo isnt hard enough to negotiate as it is, just dont put yourself through it.

Its also just plain terrible to follow a direct trend and look like everyone else, but its hard not to when there are so many restrictions when it comes to practicality and comfort.

Final thoughts... Just dont try too hard, throw something together and even if the outfit took you weeks of planning just pretend you rolled out of bed and fell into to the first thing you found on the bedroom floor.
Because at the end of the day we are there for the music, not the fashion statement. Right....?

Right? :S

  1. To all you women festivalgoers out there. ref point 3, when you are struggling with clothing in portable toilets please remember to LOCK THE DOOR! You'd be amazed how many don't and it's really distracting for our toilet cleaning lads. :)
