Here comes the showdown

What goes around comes around, and the crowds all waiting...

So my much anticipated long weekend finally turned around after a rocky start. On Easter Sunday I ventured out of the house to see some friends at Hugo's then wrapped up the night with Bianca enjoying our legendary D&M's. On Easter Monday Ben and I spent the day with both our sets parents in rare family get together. Although the lead up to the event caused me great anxiety I was happy to see how relaxed and easy it was. We finished up the weekend at the easter show, where my beautiful boyfriend won me a prize on the side show games and took me on a romantic ride on the swinging chairs.

The 4 day weekend and the end of daylight savings messed up my internal clock a bit. Good news is that tomorrow is Thursday (the beginning of my half weekend, as I have Fridays off) Thursday came around alot faster after having monday off. I have also conquered the public transport system this week, finally catching the bus to work saving me $10 in parking.

Also Danika comes to visit tomorrow. Its lucky we became very good at maintaining a long distance friendship over international time-zones for the last 2 years because now between my 9am-6pm day job and her dance teaching every night in Port it seems equally as difficult to stay in touch.

AND... Its my baby boy's birthday on Saturday, so fingers crossed we have a extreme, hectic, rockstar style weekend in his honour.

Then again... what weekend isnt like that?
